Well, hmmm. You know, this piece was the inspiration for my buffet. It sat for a almost a year and I didn’t know what to do with it. Then I saw your original post. I was in love but so afraid to paint it. But you gave me the courage to jump right in with chalk paint, Napoleonic and Provence mix with dark and clear wax. I used Java gel on the top that had been slightly burnt on one end. I did it! My first DIY! I love the new look on your dresser but my buffet gets so many complements and being my first, I will probably never touch it again.
