Hi Curtis! Yes, I always apply a top coat over the transfers to protect them. This particular paint, however, does not have to be topcoated. Hope that helps! :)

I do have a question

when you have painted and sanded and are happy with the “look”
do you need to apply a clear top coat or not

Cheers
Curtis

Oh gosh, Peggy, I don’t know! I can see the Pinterest buttons at the top and bottom of my posts still. I also have the social share buttons, including Pinterest along the side of the post too. Are you not able to see any of those?

I’m sorry about the confusion. Yes, I mean Pinterest. I have tried everything I know and no results.

Oh yes, aren’t they so neat?! They are extremely thin, I love that about them. I don’t know how they do it though! I’m SO glad you are enjoying the little box. That was a favorite makeover of mine. I don’t know why really, I just loved it. :) I know you will have fun with the paints too. Congrats again, Teresa! xoxo

Thanks, Helen! In this post, look for the gray box marked “Materials List”, there are links to all the products I used, including the transfers. :)

Thank you, Debra! And oh yes, I do. I would do the topcoat for protection. You don’t have to, of course, but since it’s in a bathroom, I would. For a dark color like Navy, I would suggest using the “Natural” Stain and Finishing Oil as the top coat. It will not affect the topcoat like a poly type would (can look streaky over dark colors sometimes) and will give it great protection. :)

Hi Adrienne! I used Fusion “Casement” (I have a link to it in my post in the gray box marked “Materials List”) :)
