I’m lookong forward to trying this recipe. ?i do have 2 questions:
1. When you say “add 1 T poppyseeds” is this a Teaspoon or a Tablespoon??
2. Does this need to be refrigerated?

In reply to cheryl menzel. Hi Cheryl, you can add Grapefruit Seed Extract, Vitamin E or Rosemary extract to help with shelf life. I would say without, probably a few months as long as no water is introduced.

If I add grapefruit and ginger and want a longer shelf life, should I add a preservative? If no preservative is added, what is the shelf life for the grapefruit and ginger receipe?

Hi Nancy,

Hmm, I don’t have a date but I would think they would last a pretty good while since they are made with sugar and/or salt. Both have natural preservative properties.
