I snagged a can of OOPS paint in bright bright yellow—no wonder it was an OOPS! I found a pair of odd looking wooden bar stools and slapped the yellow on them. Personally, I could not stand them! They were one of the first big sales in my booth!! I haven’t painted anything yellow again but your inspirations may trigger an idea. Thanks and keep safe!

I don’t think I’ve painted anything yellow since I did my oldest daughter’s crib and changing table back in the ’70’s! I did them in a combination of bright yellow, bright orange and lime green! She was such a fussy baby and so hard to get to sleep I thought later that I should have used less stimulating colors!

After reading your post today and seeing all the examples of yellow furniture I have to say my favorite is the tall handmade cupboard with the chicken wire. I love the soft yellow and the uniqueness of the wire on the door and the sides. I am thinking I might adapt the look to a thrift store tallish jewelry box I’ve been meaning to refurbish. What do you think?

Thank you for sharing! I painted a little side table yellow and have had it for sale for six months now. I took it to a market and heard three people say that it's cute, but I haven't had and takers yet. I'm thinking of changing out the top with some blue and white tiles like you have done. Then it might fly out the door! Until then, it's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who has painted a piece bright yellow!
