Hi Candace, are they in good shape otherwise?? No chipping, etc? If so, you can give them a light sand (to remove any shine) and paint them. You can use chalk style paint or something like I used on our kitchen island here with a primer. If you want to use chalk paint, you can check out this post where I write about 26 different types here. Thanks, Nan! I would probably use something like spray paint and an exterior sealer spray for that. You could also try chalk style paint if you want the weathered look. That would require no sealer as it would not wear well. But the chalk paint by itself would be fine for outside although it will weather somewhat. Not sure what look you are after! xo
